How fresh do you like your meet? How fresh is possible?
Well the policy at Christmas Hill is short and simple:

Our policy is that the best tasting meat comes from animals that
have been looked after and have enjoyed a happy life, having grown slowly and
naturally

Do you like animals?
I was extremely impressed with the way these animals were looked after when i visited the Christmas Hill farm, not suppriseing really considering Christmas Hill's high reputation of treating their animals with kindness and respect and reared in a stress-free environment. Also the selection of pigs....... i purchased were delicious.

So if your looking for a high quality, great tasting meal alongside complete provenance that has been locally produced with care and tender handling, look no further.

P.S.. Christmas Hill may have some of the country's most delicious meat, but don't forget that they sell fresh as it gets fruit, veg, dairy and many beverages.

If you choose to visit the local producer Aspell who is owned by the eighth generation of the Chevallier family, you will not be disappointed by the gorgeous view. The locally produced drinks are grown around the hall, which is surrounded by a beauful moat.

There is something for all the family, from Cyders for the parents and Apple juice for the children, to vinegar for everyone to enjoy at dinner time.

Sitting around my table of an evening my dad refuses to eat without his beloved locally produced Aspell vinegar. We always joke that he should go live with the Chevallier's and start his own local produce business.
